Odyssey - Waikato Youth INtact | He Taiohi Angitu

Providing drug and alcohol education and interventions for rangatahi/young people.

Youth INtact He Taiohi Angitu is a service for young people providing education and interventions for rangitahi/young people to learn the skills required to ensure that drugs and alcohol are not a barrier toreaching their goals.

The service can also provide resources and supports for parents to understand adolescence and substance use.

The service is available in a number of schools in Hamilton and surrounds or can be accessed in the community.

Tūturu Lead, Debs Galloway Riwhi

Debs brings over 15 years of experience working across health and social service settings, with a focus on youth development and supporting whānau navigating mental health and family harm challenges.

She holds a Master of Social Work, a Bachelor of Health Science (Health Promotion), and a Certificate in adult teaching and training. Through Tūturu, Debs brings together her passions for health promotion, education, and systems-level change to creating meaningful impact for rangatahi.

Debs is a proud mum to four awesome tamariki. She enjoys staying active, spending time in nature, and cheering her kids on in their many extra-curricular adventures.
